This beautiful German house cuckoo clock has the scene of a moving child. The child moves to the call of cuckoo on the hour and half-hour.
The Black Forest house has a chimney and hand spliced wooden shingle roof. Hand-carved trees stand on each side of this quaint little cuckoo clock. There is also a goose, bench and wood and rock formations along the base of the clock.
The clock is powered by gravity produced by two cast iron weights shaped like pine cones. The drive chains are made of tarnish resistant brass and feed up thru the clock gears to provide power. The mechanism is the Regula model 25 which is made of brass and is easy to service.
Anton Schneider is the manufacturer and the clock is made in Schonach, Germany and has a full two year warranty.
